Analysis Notes

General Damn stupid comics that don’t number their pages.  Good thing this one’s notes are from the first page.  Grumble, grumble.
1:4 Element Lad is in the lower right corner.  His dance partner appears to have green skin (and thus might be Brainiac 5), but the white starburst pattern on his costume marks him as Northstar.  (Recall that Northstar and the preboot Element Lad were both gay.)
Club Eternal (which, with its fiery logo, is a knock on the disco anthem “Disco Inferno”) is apparently a gay or mixed club.  Also in this panel with Smax and Toy Box are Apollo and The Midnighter, Josie and the Pussycats, Captain Caveman (the prototypical “bear”, perhaps?), and < > and < >, with Dazzler (who started as a disco performer) and the White Queen (wearing her lingerie under the cloak, no doubt) on the platform.
