Analysis Notes

General There is no cover date, but “July 2000” is the indicia date for this; the actual shipping date was June 1, 2000.
Although the Legion staff professed that the Legion Lost premise should not be taken as based on Star Trek: Voyager, the fact that this was in production at the same time as the early Legion Lost issues and is written by the same people at least evokes a look of skepticism.
12:1 Given Moy and Carani’s tenure on Legionnaires, it should come as no surprise that there are Legion ships in this “graveyard”: a Mark-459 cruiser (current series) is on the right edge, about two inches down from the top, and a late-70’s/early-80’s design (modelled on the Enterprise NCC-1701) is at the bottom of the star’s corona, also about two inches from the top of the panel.
Other ships here are drawn from a variety of sources.  Near the star are Constellation and Defiant class Federation ships, and a Star Wars fighter.  The X-tailed ship below the Legion stargater is from < >.  Behind Voyager is a 23rd century Klingon ship, and to its right are the Ark from < > and a fighter from Battlestar Galactica.  It would not be surprising to find that nearly every ship other than Voyager, the Borg cube, the Forge, and the Harvesters was from some other media source.
