LeatherLeather Brunch
Backyard (3820 S. Ferdinand St. [behind Rookies], Seattle), 10:15 am–12:00 noon / order from menu
Seattle Men in Leather’s monthly Leather Brunch returns!  We will be holding this at the Backyard space at/behind Rookies in Columbia City on the 1st Sunday of the month for the rest of this year.  The Backyard promises an off-the-menu brunch with a few standard brunch items with a touch of BBQ theme.  We will have 4-5 tables reserved for us initially (for about 20 people), but can expand if more people show up.  (We don’t have the entire space… yet.  If enough people show up…)  Street parking is available in the neighborhood, including a $2 pay lot across the street.  The #7 bus runs through Columbia City, and the LINK light rail stop is only a few blocks away.  There is no dress code for the brunch, but Gear It Up anyway and make the space our own.  (But remember: No Shirt No Shoes No Service also means you need to wear pants [or equivalent], so no butt cheeks.)  The space does not open until 10 am, so we have set the start time at 10:15.  The Backyard will host a viewing of the Seahawks games starting at 1 pm, so there will be a crowd change around 12:30 on game days.

MenRain City Jacks
Gallery Erato (309 1st Ave S, Seattle), 7:00–9:30 pm (doors close at 8:00 pm) / Price based on membership level ($5 off for CSPC, NW Bears, and SML members or students; cash only)
Rain City Jacks is where guys masturbate together in Seattle.  We are a private club for men, 18 years of age and older, who want to jack off openly and safely in a uniquely sex-positive, non-discriminating and mutually respectful community.  No penetration of any kind is allowed.  The fundamentals are “no lips below the hips” and “nothing goes inside anybody’s anything.”  Membership is required to attend any RCJ event and enrollment is available at the door for every regular club gathering.  (First-timers are allowed in early and must arrive between 6:45 and 7:45 to sign up and receive new member orientation before joining the event in progress.  Make sure you bring your photo ID and cash.  A 30-day trial membership is available for first-timers.)  Rain City Jacks provides the time, place and everything a man needs to fully enjoy masturbation with a group of genuine, like-minded men.  You should come.
All-Fetish Party.  Not every kink is compatible with Rain City Jacks events but a whole lot of them are.  What gets an extra throb in your penis?  What pushes your pleasure to 11?  December’s themed party invites you to display and share your jam with your buddies.  Leather, lace, boots, feet, lingerie, sports gear, masks, underwear, nipple clamps, ball stretchers… almost anything you can wear that stays outside the body is fair game at this event.  Our bottom line is always: Nothing goes inside anybody’s anything.   Most wearable fetishes are perfect for this event.  Expose your perv in the playspace at this special event and help turn up the heat for yourself and everyone else.  Remember: No member of Rain City Jacks is ever required to participate in any theme.  If you just like to share every man’s favorite pastime (stroking penis) and don’t need or want anything extra, just come to the party and enjoy yourself!  But for everyone who does participate in the theme and keeps their fetish gear on through the middle of the event, those guys will qualify for our random drawing for one of three free event passes.   You don’t have to participate in the theme to attend, but if you do, you have a good chance of winning your next RCJ event free.

QueerPDX Queer Munch
Radio Room (1101 NE Alberta, Portland), 6:00–8:00 pm
This munch is for anyone who identifies as queer and their partners.  By queer, we mean gay men, lesbians, fags, dykes, bisexuals, pansexuals, and polysexuals along with transfolk, those who are genderqueer, gender flexible, gender fluid, and gender fuckers.  If the word queer feels like home for part of you or all of you, you are welcome.  And when we say “partner” , we mean everything from play partners to life partners.  The Portland Queer Munch will happen every month on the first or second Thursday (depending on scheduling options).
The space is wheelchair accessible and the menu has lots of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options (and all clearly labeled!).  There is plenty of free street parking and the 72 bus will drop you off within a block of The Radio Room.  The munch will meet on the main floor instead of in the lounge areas so that we won’t be limited to 21+.  This does mean that we can’t be too demonstrative about our kink so as not to scare off their other patrons, but the venue is completely aware of what our group is about and is happy to have us there!  Please buy something to support the venue so that they’ll keep having us back.  They do know that not everyone will be ordering food/eating full meals, but please do get a drink or a snack.  Bottomless coffee is $2, and an order of fries is $3, to give you an idea of the prices.

WorkshopSafeword
Kremwerk (1809 Minor Ave., Seattle), 7:00–10:00 pm
Safeword is a fun, foxy, shame-free environment with a verbal contract with the audience incorporated into the show and a commitment to sexy consent and a uproarious good time!  From the deranged minds of Seattle’s Queen of Kinky Comedy Claire Webber and practicing sodomite Bobby Higley comes a game-show style kink show.  This is a sexy show, but it is in no way a sex show.  There will be no nudity, and no one will be made to feel uncomfortable or ashamed.  If anything like that occurs at the show, anyone to report the bad behavior will be deeply rewarded in praise and love of their fellow people.  There will be no photos until after the show.  Photos will be taken by the incredible Shan Collier.  Because (_-Consent is List AF BB-_) we have a one-strike rule: break the rules, you will be escorted out.  The lovely staff don’rsquo;t take kindly to assholes, creeps, homophobes, transphobes, MAGA hats, and dumbass rule-breaking hooligans!  There will be some built-in audience participation, and we want it enthusiastic, playful, and shame free!  That includes the comics!

What’s that off in the distance?  Could it be the jingling of sleigh bells?  Join us for a very special holiday mosh!  We will have lots of goodies and surprises for everyone, with an extra hour of fun!  There will be a raffle of some holiday themed items, plus goodie bags.  Bring your holiday spirit and baking to our popular treat table — last year many of our community members brought cookies, bars, and other snacks to share.  For homemade items, a small sign indicating the possible allergens is greatly appreciated so that everyone can enjoy.  For the first time, we will also be trying out a white elephant gift exchange.  It’s fun and easy!  If you want to participate, bring a wrapped $20 gift to the mosh and we will handle everything else!  We will also have a visit from Santa Claus and his amazing elf, who have volunteered to take photos with everyone, so wear your gear, grab your friends, and smile for the camera!

WorkshopTacoma Newcomers Munch
Round Table Pizza (7921 S Hosmer St., Suite A, Tacoma), 7:00–8:30 pm
The Tacoma Newcomers Munch is hosted by the SSLA once a month on the first Saturday of every month.  It is open to all adults (18+ yrs) in a relaxed dining atmosphere.  Our topics are geared toward beginners to the kink & BDSM scene and/or for people who are new to the South Sound community.  We typically cover a cycle of approximately 10-12 rotating topics presented by respected subject matter experts in our local community.  Think of this munch as the one where we discuss the how or what of the things that we do.  While some of our topics come back around annually, we are always open to ideas and new guest speakers so if you have a concern, guest speaker, or topic idea please contact the munch facilitator/host, LeatherWolfe, privately or within the Tacoma Newbie Group for consideration.
Topic: Kinky Santa Gift Exchange.   This is not your typical “White elephant” gift exchange where you pass of your crappy vanilla gifts from your office party.  Gifts should be kinky, pervertable, scene related, or somehow useable by consenting adults to have some fucking fun.  Please keep your gifts somewhere between $15–25 (we actually don’t care how much you choose to spend but we would like the game to be fair and reasonable to all) .  Please wrap your gifts or make them somewhat fun or annoying to open because that is a part of the game.

WorkshopAll The Demos!
Private location in Seattle, 7:00–10:00 pm / $35 (buy in advance)
Presented by Max.  This is a highly interactive event, mostly comprised of demos on attendee volunteers.  It provides a safe and informal space to observe, experience, learn, and discuss a number of kink activities.  After a brief introduction covering scene dynamics, negotiation and safety, volunteers have opportunities to bottom to Max for demos which may include:
• Rope bondage
• Electrical toys — violet wands, TENS/ErosTek, stun guns and zappers
• Needles / temporary piercing
• Pressure points
• Floggers
• Singletail whips
• Canes
• D/S and service dynamics
• Leather & metal bondage (including hoods)
• Cages
• Erotic hypnosis
Each demo will include some time for a debrief and Q&A.  This is a great workshop for anyone curious about kink, as it’s an unusual opportunity to see many different types of play up close and personal.  It’s also valuable for more experienced kinksters who would like to see a professional demonstration.  And it’s a great opportunity to meet Max and to do a demo scene with him, of course.  This workshop assumes no previous experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations.  You can bring a partner or a group of friends, but coming alone is completely comfortable and appropriate.  If you miss this workshop or want a deeper experience, Max also offers private instruction for bondage and many other BDSM techniques.  Class size is limited and preregistration is required.

LeatherwomenQueer Women’s Social
Cuff Complex (1533 13th Ave., Seattle), 7:00–10:00 pm
This woman-centric event puts queer leather women to the front!  Women need a place that can be uplifting and empowering to them and now we have it!  If you are a queer woman and enjoy spending time with other queer women, you and your queer guests are welcome.  Invited guests do not need to identify as women but must attend with women.  Many of us want a women’s space that simultaneously is for us while allowing space for those we care about.  Above all else, this is a space for and by queer women.  While that includes allowing space for the partners and close friends of women, please be respectful of the women-centric nature of the space.  While this event can run past 11:00 pm, the atmosphere can switch on weekends and we may not be able to maintain a woman-centric space later in the evening.  As this monthly event grows, we will have the opportunity to provide space for queer women’s organizations and events to host each month’s social, increasing awareness of events and spaces that might be unknown but of interest to leather women while providing opportunities to expand, fundraise, and have fun!  If you are interested in hosting a monthly social and are a club, organization, or event focused on women in the LGBTQ+ and leather communities, please reach out!  We would love to share space with you!

Leather Flag line
This information is aimed especially at the Seattle gay male leather community.  Some events are included which might be seen as non-gay, non-male, and/or non-leather; they are included due to the perceived breadth of people who may visit this web page and the crossover nature of events of those types with the gay male leather community.
About Out-of-Town Events: These events are listed below a green line for each date, and include both events throughout the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia) and larger-scope national events (especially those which will be attended by some members of Seattle Men in Leather).  For out-of-Seattle events, we typically only list the most prominent ones (socials, board meetings, and the like).  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Bear, Rodeo, CW Dance, etc., Events: As above, we pick and choose which of these events to include.  All Seattle-area events are included, but only prominent regional and national events are listed.  (As a rule of thumb, we list board meetings and events at leather bars, but not munches, non-leather dances, etc.)  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Pansexual and Workshop Events: Also included in the calendar are a selection of events primarily aimed at the kinky straight or pansexual community, but appropriate for or welcoming of gay male (and GLBTQ) leatherfolk. Typically, these are workshops which are not specifically heterosexually themed, but a fewplay parties and weekend events are also included where appropriate. Keeping in mind the gay male leather intent behind this calendar, we list events which have an obvious attraction for and are clearly welcoming of the gay male leather crowd.  (Many “pansexual” events really have nothing to recommend them to gay male leatherfolk: we might not be turned away, but why would we attend?)  Decisions about what to list are informed by the text and imagery of websites and event announcements; if you feel that your event truly should be of interest to gay male leatherfolk and is not currently being listed, please contact us (and check the text and imagery you make available).
Leather Flag line
Send your event details to us. We will try to list all leather/fetish events expected to be of interest to the GLBTQ leather community, including both one-time events and recurring ones.  Include the event name, date, time, location, cost for the event, and contact info, plus a short description if available.  Deadline for sending items to be included in the weekly e-mail version of the calendar is Monday at 6:00 pm (Pacific time).  Items and corrections provided at other times will be inserted into the online calendar as they are received (and as we have time).
Disclaimer #1: SoundsKinky is not responsible for either the events listed here nor for the accuracy of the information included.  We apologize if we fail to include your event, but we’re only human.  Sometimes events, vacations, work, and life get in the way.  And you darn well better get it to us before the deadline if you want it in the listings!
Disclaimer #2: Seattle Men in Leather (SML) includes events from other organizations on this list as a service to the community.  Only events which are specifically hosted by Seattle Men in Leather qualify for the SML activity rewards program.
