LeatherwomenSeattle Women in Leather Social and Meeting
Details unknown, presumably online (Seattle)
Seattle Women in Leather is committed to education, mentorship, and involvement throughout the community at large.  We are focused on building and strengthening the women’s community through camaraderie and charitable actions.  We are an inclusive, safe space for individuals to express themselves in a positive manner through substantial service.  Outside food is allowed, but outside beverages are not.
Quarterly meetings: 2nd Monday of January, April, July, and October.
WorkshopSome of the Demos!
Onine via TBD (from Seattle), 7:00–8:30 pm / $15 (buy in advance)
Presented by Max.  This is a highly interactive event, mostly comprised of demos on attendee volunteers.  It provides a safe and informal space to observe, experience, learn, and discuss a number of kink activities.  After a brief introduction covering scene dynamics, negotiation and safety, volunteers have opportunities to bottom to Max for demos which may include:
• Rope bondage
• Electrical toys — violet wands, TENS/ErosTek, stun guns and zappers
• Needles / temporary piercing
• Pressure points
• Floggers
• Singletail whips
• Canes
• D/S and service dynamics
• Leather & metal bondage (including hoods)
• Cages
• Erotic hypnosis
Each demo will include some time for a debrief and Q&A.  This is a great workshop for anyone curious about kink, as it’s an unusual opportunity to see many different types of play up close and personal.  It’s also valuable for more experienced kinksters who would like to see a professional demonstration.  And it’s a great opportunity to meet Max and to do a demo scene with him, of course.  This workshop assumes no previous experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations.  You can bring a partner or a group of friends, but coming alone is completely comfortable and appropriate.  If you miss this workshop or want a deeper experience, Max also offers private instruction for bondage and many other BDSM techniques.  Class size is limited and preregistration is required.
This is an online event, modeled after the highly successful All The Demos event that has been running since 2014.  Max will have demo partners on-site, and you get to watch, learn, and interact remotely. Online event information will be shared with registered attendees.

LeatherwomenKinky Women’s Munch
Online via Zoom (from Portland), 7:00–9:00 pm
Our monthly munch is for self-identified women interested in meeting others in the BDSM and kink communities.  (You decide whether we’re the group for you; more information on our front page.)  Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/272007983?pwd=Wm1ReFRld2o1b2RWZnBuSEVqeGEwdz09
Country-Western DanceRain Country Line Dancing
Online via Zoom (from Seattle), 7:00–9:00 pm with lesson @ 7:30 pm
Lessons: Boot Scootin’ Boogie + We Are Fighters and Jerusalema recaps / Instructor: Jim / DJ: Jim
We may not be able to get together to dance at this time, but we can still dance together.  At the same time.  Socially distanced but in synch.  Join us on the Zoom video conference system — install it on your phone, tablet, or laptop (it’s free), call into the “meeting”, and set your device where you can see other people dancing.  (You may also be able to cast to a TV and set your device in front of it.)  Jim will DJ a bunch of our Tuesday night favorites, and we can all dance — or have a beverage and just watch, and use Zoom’s chat feature.  We will also try to add a lesson into the mix.  A 6x6 space would be best, but you may be able to work with a smaller space than that.  (NOTE: if you will be dancing on carpet, you’ve got to have slick-soled shoes or you might hurt your knees or ankles.  It’s a lot different from dancing on a wood floor.)
Here is the link to the meeting.  Go into Gallery Mode so you can see everyone who is in the meeting.  Oh, and be sure to Start Video so we can see you, too.  Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/181948351?pwd=KzN0ZEI1YW8yNlczQm1zYXJudnlvZz09 (ID: 181 948 351 / Pass: 522008)

Leather3rd Thursday Leather Social
Online via Zoom (from Seattle), 8:00–10:00 pm
Join us on Thursday night for an online version of SML’s 3rd Thursday Leather Social.  We will use the Zoom video conference system, complete with breakout rooms so smaller groups can chat more easily.  Gear up, grab yourself a beverage (adult or otherwise), and join us for some quality leathermen time.  Gear It Up!  This is a *leather* (and such) social, so it’s time to break some gear out of the closet and drawers and bins — something casual, or full BLUF formal, if you like.  Rubber, puppy, uniform, whatever floats your kink boat that night!  Bigger screens are better, of course (we’re all size queens in our way!), so if you have a tablet or laptop, that’s better than a phone.  And if you can cast to your TV, so much the better.)
Zoom link will be provided to SML members via email and in the Facebook on the day of the event.
This month: With pandemic restrictions slowly relaxing, a lot of us are eyeing the ability to travel this summer or fall.  Have you wanted to go to one of the leather and kink events out there — International Mr. Leather or Mid-Atlantic Leather, Folsom or Dore Alley, CLAW or Northern Exposure or Gear Blast, Fist Fest or Smokeout or Pig Week —  but you’ve got questions?   Do I need to stay at the host hotel?  Do I need to buy the weekend package?  It’s a kinky sex event, but do I have what it takes to play with the big boys?  What about the drama I heard about with Event XYZ?  Do other guys from Seattle go, can we travel together and share a room?  If you want to know more about any of the destination leather and kink events, join us for this social and we will see what we can do to help you have a fucking fantastic time!  (And if you have attended any of the events, join us and share you thoughts on what made that event tops.  Or even what made it, um, not so great.)

PuppyPDX PAH Board Meeting

Got ideas for what the pack does?  Want to see how the PAH is run?  Then join our digital board meeting.  I promise it is more exciting than it sounds.
PuppyPDX PAH Puppy Mosh: Digital Mosh
Online via Zoom (from Portland), 3:30–6:00 pm
Come in all your favorite gear, bring your chew toys along, and munch on treats and snacks.  You can even wear the spiky collars and shoes that you can’t at our regular moshes!  We will be using Zoom, a video chat platform that allows up to 100 users to tune in at a time.  All you need is a computer or phone that allows you to tune in; if you don’t have a video camera or mic, you can still chat with folks and see what is happening on the screen.  This format also lets you create a custom username so people can see you by your pet or scene name instead of a legal name.
Notes:
1) Please wear bar-friendly gear.  Tail plugs are ok.
2) This will be a strictly 18+ event.
3) Please refrain from heavier BDSM and sexual play.  While we are all adults, not everyone is comfortable seeing that and you never know who may be tuning in on their lunch break.  Fetish gear, restraints, and light play are okay.
4) While we love squeaky toys and barks and howls, please be mindful of getting them too close to your mics.

PansexualMAsT: South Sound
Online via Zoom (from Tacoma), 4:00–5:30 pm
About MAsT South Sound: We are an inclusive and integrated group and would love for you to come talk with us about the fundamentals of healthy power dynamics.  We won’t pretend to know the answers, but instead offer a starting point for discussion in the hopes that we may all reach greater personal and relationship growth.  All types, statuses, labels and identifiers welcome!  After MAsT: Sometimes the conversation is so good that we want to keep it going!  Develop deeper connections and relationships and enjoy further discussion over dinner.  Location: To be announced after meeting.
This month: Empathy: does it belong in M/s?  In relationships based on power and structure, where individuals participating may enjoy boundaries and consequences, does empathy have a place?  So it has been a hard day, is a break in the expectations needed?  Or is more the ticket?  Is leaning into M/s, or away, even a thing?  Join us for this dynamic discussion that applies to all sides of the slash.

LeatherwomenWomen’s Rope Enthusiasts Group (WREG)
Online via Zoom (from Seattle), 6:00–9:00 pm / $5–10 donation
Come to a women-centered Rope Enthusiast Group.  Practice ties, show off new ties, ask questions about rope practices and issues in a warm and fun environment focused on women tops, bottoms, and switches.  Or just hang out and socialize!  There is a lot of experience here and all the support and encouragement you could ask for!  If you knit and want to bring your knitting, go right ahead!  It is, after all just really small rope, right?  Similar to other rope enthusiast groups, WREG is a place for the ladies to work on their rope bondage skills and techniques.  It is a place for our community to practice, learn, and share.  We encourage you to bring books, questions, friends — anything that will help facilitate your learning.  WREG is open to everyone but with a primary focus on women and female-identified folks.  Men and male-identified folks are welcome to act as practice bottoms for rope work.  Also, chocolate.  If you want to bring something to share, bring chocolate.  It is always appreciated.
Theme: TBD.  Please RSVP on FetLife.

We have a water bottle filling station.  We now accept contactless payments by Venmo, Paypal, Zelle ,and credit card.   We can accept cash but we cannot offer change.  If the amount is prohibitive for anyone, we have scholarships available and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.  Since there is a cap of 12 dancers, it is first come, first served but you can preregister to reserve your spot by email.  Can’t make it in person?  We still want to see your beautiful face! Join us by Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/449604231, and free).  We’ll be streaming the lesson and line dances afterwards.

Country-Western DanceRain Country Line Dancing
Online via Zoom (from Seattle), 7:00–9:00 pm with lesson @ 7:30 pm
Lessons: TBD + TBD recap / Instructor: Jim / DJ: Jim
Line Dance Step Sheets and Videos: http://www.copperknob.co.uk/stepsheets/TBD.aspx

We’re hoping to be a bit more social and connection-oriented this time around, and we’ll try out some social breaks to catch up with each other and chat about things between dances.  So even if you don’t feel like dancing, drop in to say hello!  Before the dance you can check out our website, stomptown.org, and see a list of our common dances with teaching videos and step sheets on the “Instructions” page.  DJ Ra will be spinning your favorite line dances, and you can join in by video from your living room!  Join us on Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/449604231.

This information is aimed especially at the Seattle gay male leather community.  Some events are included which might be seen as non-gay, non-male, and/or non-leather; they are included due to the perceived breadth of people who may visit this web page and the crossover nature of events of those types with the gay male leather community.
About Out-of-Town Events: These events are listed below a green line for each date, and include both events throughout the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia) and larger-scope national events (especially those which will be attended by some members of Seattle Men in Leather).  For out-of-Seattle events, we typically only list the most prominent ones (socials, board meetings, and the like).  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Bear, Rodeo, CW Dance, etc., Events: As above, we pick and choose which of these events to include.  All Seattle-area events are included, but only prominent regional and national events are listed.  (As a rule of thumb, we list board meetings and events at leather bars, but not munches, non-leather dances, etc.)  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Pansexual and Workshop Events: Also included in the calendar are a selection of events primarily aimed at the kinky straight or pansexual community, but appropriate for or welcoming of gay male (and GLBTQ) leatherfolk. Typically, these are workshops which are not specifically heterosexually themed, but a fewplay parties and weekend events are also included where appropriate. Keeping in mind the gay male leather intent behind this calendar, we list events which have an obvious attraction for and are clearly welcoming of the gay male leather crowd.  (Many “pansexual” events really have nothing to recommend them to gay male leatherfolk: we might not be turned away, but why would we attend?)  Decisions about what to list are informed by the text and imagery of websites and event announcements; if you feel that your event truly should be of interest to gay male leatherfolk and is not currently being listed, please contact us (and check the text and imagery you make available).

Send your event details to us. We will try to list all leather/fetish events expected to be of interest to the GLBTQ leather community, including both one-time events and recurring ones.  Include the event name, date, time, location, cost for the event, and contact info, plus a short description if available.  Deadline for sending items to be included in the weekly e-mail version of the calendar is Monday at 6:00 pm (Pacific time).  Items and corrections provided at other times will be inserted into the online calendar as they are received (and as we have time).
Disclaimer #1: SoundsKinky is not responsible for either the events listed here nor for the accuracy of the information included.  We apologize if we fail to include your event, but we’re only human.  Sometimes events, vacations, work, and life get in the way.  And you darn well better get it to us before the deadline if you want it in the listings!
Disclaimer #2: Seattle Men in Leather (SML) includes events from other organizations on this list as a service to the community.  Only events which are specifically hosted by Seattle Men in Leather qualify for the SML activity rewards program.
