BikersBorder Riders Victoria Day Run
Pine Flats Campground (Ardenvoir, WA), / $128–170 (depending on attendee type)
BRMC has hosted the riding season kickoff each year on Victoria Day weekend.  After not being able to do this for 2 years (COVID), we will once again be able to make it in-person at our usual place, the US Forest Service Pine Flats Campground near Ardenvoir, Washington.  This primitive campground is fully reserved for BRMC, where seclusion and privacy is a feature of this central base camp for day rides throughout the central Washington area.  We truck in a full kitchen to provide breakfast and dinner meals for the weekend.  This event also allows 4 wheel vehicles (except RVs), so you can bring your non-riding partner or friends as well as that tent that is too large for your bike (but really, we are a motorcycle club, so at least try to rough it out).  We expect a good group that always has a great weekend.  Early registration gets you a discount.  Discounted Early Bird Registration opens Thursday, April 28 at 8:00 am PST and closes Saturday, April 30 at 12:00 midnight.  All vehicles (except RVs) welcome, no pets.

PuppyPDX PAH Puppy Mosh
Eagle Portland (835 N Lombard St., Portland), 3:00–5:30 pm
Come in all your favorite gear, bring your chew toys along, and munch on treats and snacks.  You can even wear the spiky collars and shoes that you can’t at our regular moshes!  We will be using Zoom, a video chat platform that allows up to 100 users to tune in at a time.  All you need is a computer or phone that allows you to tune in; if you don’t have a video camera or mic, you can still chat with folks and see what is happening on the screen.  This format also lets you create a custom username so people can see you by your pet or scene name instead of a legal name.
Notes:
1) Please wear bar-friendly gear.  Tail plugs are ok.
2) This will be a strictly 18+ event.
3) Please refrain from heavier BDSM and sexual play.  While we are all adults, not everyone is comfortable seeing that and you never know who may be tuning in on their lunch break.  Fetish gear, restraints, and light play are okay.
4) While we love squeaky toys and barks and howls, please be mindful of getting them too close to your mics.
You will need to be fully vaccinated to enter the Eagle.  They will need to see your vaccination card unless they have already recorded that information.  Remember: if you have an issue with the behavior of any patron, especially when it comes to unwelcome touch or sexual advances, please come find one of the board members!  We want to address any issues before they become a problem, and we want our events to be safe for you, our members!

International Mr. Bootblack welcome you to IML 2022.  We are excited to be working diligently on preparations for International Mr. Leather and International Mr. Bootblack 2022.  IML Weekend starts on Thursday, May 26 and continues through Monday, May 30.  The Congress Hotel and Convention Center will once again be the host hotel, and the Saturday/Sunday contest events will now be held in an exciting new venue, The Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place.  The contestants are already shining their gear and preparing their speeches for you, and we will be opening sign-ups for volunteers starting in mid-February.  Each year we rely on over 250 volunteers to keep everything moving smoothly.  If lending your time to help create a successful event is something you would like to do then you will find that information under the Visitors Guide once it is up and running.  The official schedule of events has been updated, but as always, is subject to change.  There are still rooms and tickets available directly on this website.  We are very much looking forward to getting our Tribe back together and cannot wait to see you there!
There has been a plethora of questions about Covid-19 and the several variants as far as requirements and protocols for our event.  Currently there have been no definitive decisions since the environment is constantly changing and announcements will be made as we get closer; here and on social media.  Just know that we are monitoring it closely and we will follow whatever recommendations are made by the government.

Fist Friday is a fisting oriented party held on the 1st Friday in a private playspace.  While fisting is the primary activity things like watersports, toys, bondage, flogging, sounding, electro, fucking, and sucking also happen.  It runs from until 1:00 am or later, depending on what’s happening.  We are located in east Vancouver, less than 15 minutes from the airport.  We have 4 slings, 2 bondage/massage tables, 3 flogging crosses, 1 medical exam table, 1 rim seat, 1 massage/fisting chair, a gyno/fisting chair, a suspension hoist, a piss pool or a shower for piss play during the colder months, lots of sounding and electro play things, and more toys than most toy stores.  This is a drug and alcohol free party.  There is a $15 suggested donation to help cover the costs of running this party.  We cap attendance at 25 guys so everyone has a place to play.  Make sure you sign up as soon as you see the event posted to our site because these parties fill up fast.  And if you decide not to come, feel free to cancel your request so someone else has a chance to come.

WorkshopRopeLab: Seattle
Private location on Capitol Hill (Seattle), 6:30–9:30 pm
RopeLab Seattle is a collaborative men’s rope bondage community for experienced rope riggers to workshop and practice rope techniques.  This is a space for gay and bisexual men, transmen, and other male presenting people to participate in ropework peer-learning skillshare.  There is no evaluation/requirement for proof of skill level.  If you feel you have the necessary skills to participate, you are encouraged to attend.  However, the focus of RopeLab Seattle will always highlight the needs of our community’s advanced riggers — RopeLab Seattle is not the place to learn your first knots, but once you have those down (having learned them at one of many great events such as Men Tying Men or a ropes class facilitated by SLSC) you are encouraged and welcome to join RopeLab Seattle. Each RopeLab begins with a welcome and introduction to the evening’s topic/theme often accompanied by a photo slideshow highlighting a variety of methods or approaches to the theme/topic.  Participants are encouraged to dialogue about these approaches and share examples of things they have tried, or want to try.  After a short discussion, participants are encouraged to form small groups around specific interests related to the theme and then begin roping.  This is very much a collaborative educational learning/workshop space and not a play party.  Participants are encouraged to wander around the space to see other approaches to the topic/theme and engage in discussion.  It is encouraged to swap/rotate your tying partner throughout the event to provide a variety of body types to practice on; however, we understand that some people may not be comfortable with a different tying partner, and that should be respected.  Sessions are capped at 10 rope pairs.  Rope riggers are required to RSVP online and sign up their tying partner.  If you do not have a rope bottom/model, reach out to the RopeLab Seattle message boards/server.  All participants will be required to sign a digital waiver form at the beginning of each session.  Rope tops should wear comfortable clothes such as jeans and T-shirt, or athletic clothing.  Rope tops are required to bring their own ropes, equipment, and yoga mat (if required).  Rope bottoms should avoid loose or bulky clothing.  For the ease of tying, rope bottoms are encouraged to wear snug-fitting clothing, shorts, or underwear only.
What is the mission of RopeLab Seattle?
• Elevating male* rope bondage practitioners roping on the masculine form
• Providing collaborative educational spaces for intermediate-advanced male* ropers, grounded in peer-learning and skillshare
•  Providing informal pedagogical experiences that decentralize “expertise” and invite ropers to develop their voice, skillsets, and identities as active riggers and rope educators

Leather Flag line
This information is aimed especially at the Seattle gay male leather community.  Some events are included which might be seen as non-gay, non-male, and/or non-leather; they are included due to the perceived breadth of people who may visit this web page and the crossover nature of events of those types with the gay male leather community.
About Out-of-Town Events: These events are listed below a green line for each date, and include both events throughout the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia) and larger-scope national events (especially those which will be attended by some members of Seattle Men in Leather).  For out-of-Seattle events, we typically only list the most prominent ones (socials, board meetings, and the like).  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Bear, Rodeo, CW Dance, etc., Events: As above, we pick and choose which of these events to include.  All Seattle-area events are included, but only prominent regional and national events are listed.  (As a rule of thumb, we list board meetings and events at leather bars, but not munches, non-leather dances, etc.)  Activity listings for those groups and those regions may provide a broader listings of events.
About Pansexual and Workshop Events: Also included in the calendar are a selection of events primarily aimed at the kinky straight or pansexual community, but appropriate for or welcoming of gay male (and GLBTQ) leatherfolk. Typically, these are workshops which are not specifically heterosexually themed, but a fewplay parties and weekend events are also included where appropriate. Keeping in mind the gay male leather intent behind this calendar, we list events which have an obvious attraction for and are clearly welcoming of the gay male leather crowd.  (Many “pansexual” events really have nothing to recommend them to gay male leatherfolk: we might not be turned away, but why would we attend?)  Decisions about what to list are informed by the text and imagery of websites and event announcements; if you feel that your event truly should be of interest to gay male leatherfolk and is not currently being listed, please contact us (and check the text and imagery you make available).

Send your event details to us. We will try to list all leather/fetish events expected to be of interest to the GLBTQ leather community, including both one-time events and recurring ones.  Include the event name, date, time, location, cost for the event, and contact info, plus a short description if available.  Deadline for sending items to be included in the weekly e-mail version of the calendar is Monday at 6:00 pm (Pacific time).  Items and corrections provided at other times will be inserted into the online calendar as they are received (and as we have time).
Disclaimer #1: SoundsKinky is not responsible for either the events listed here nor for the accuracy of the information included.  We apologize if we fail to include your event, but we’re only human.  Sometimes events, vacations, work, and life get in the way.  And you darn well better get it to us before the deadline if you want it in the listings!
Disclaimer #2: Seattle Men in Leather (SML) includes events from other organizations on this list as a service to the community.  Only events which are specifically hosted by Seattle Men in Leather qualify for the SML activity rewards program.
